SAP には、独自ソーシャルメディアサイト「SAP Community Network（SCN）」が存在する。

ここでは、会員登録さえすれば、誰でもブログ、フォーラム、wiki などに参加できる。このサイトはすでに6年の運営実績を持ち、170万人の利用者を抱える。サイト内のブロガー数は5,000人に上る。そのうち社員が3 分の1、残り3分の2は顧客やアナリスト、パートナー企業のメンバーが占める。
エンタープライズランキングか。
1、2は、ERP パッケージを顧客に導入するパートナーやコンサルタント、周辺ソリューションを開発するパートナー企業の開発者が主な利用者だ。SCN では、彼らが積極的にコミュニティに参加してもらえるように、独自のポイント制度を導入している。そして、投稿者別、パートナー企業別のランキングをサイト内に掲載している。

SAP は外部のソーシャルメディアの活用にも積極的だ。SCN の中に、「Social Media Trends」というページが用意されている。ここで、オフィシャルブログ、Facebook のファンページ、Twitter アカウント、YouTube チャネルなどを紹介している。

エンタープライズ企業の人を、ソーシャルメディアに呼び込む秘訣が公開されているそうです。
SCN サイト内に「General Rules and Guidelines to SCN」が用意されている。当然、社員だけでなくパートナー企業に向けたガイドラインだ。活性化を促す項目はなく、禁止事項や免責事項の羅列となっている。すでに活性化するインセンティブが備わっているためだろう。
